The best chance we have at making a difference in our world is in the children we raise. That’s why we are so passionate about Next Generation ministries at Living Word.
In Isaiah 54:2-3, the Lord instructs his people to expand their physical dwellings so that more may be added to their numbers. The time has come for our LWC Vandalia Campus to “enlarge our tents and lengthen our cords.”
We are excited to introduce building expansion plans that will prioritize serving the next generation of the church. By adding several thousand square feet of new space for the preschool, elementary, youth and young adults of LWC, we will be poised to deepen our commitment to the next generation and create the space needed for our church community to grow.

Additionally, there will be enhancements to the existing structure, including the replacement of aging mechanical systems, additional bathrooms and a completely renovated lobby concourse to make every space in the building cohesive & accessible. And there will be some brand new exciting elements, including 6,000 square feet of outdoor gathering space for us to deepen our connections.
The children’s wing at the Vandalia Campus has served our needs for nearly 2 decades, and now it’s time to create more room to invest into the future of our community. We’re committed to developing the next generation of the church at LWC, and together, we can make an eternal impact in the lives of more young people with these new spaces.
