Youth • Grades 7–12

YOUTH x LWC

We want every student to know God, find freedom, discover purpose and make a difference. How will we accomplish this? By creating a fun, friendly and loving environment where students can connect with Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. This will happen through real relationships, personal leadership development, and great events on Sundays designed for fun and friendship.

We meet every Sunday at our Vandalia Campus, 926 E National Rd.

Helpful Info

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs regarding Youth

What safety measures do you have in place?

Our check in process ensures that every student is able to have the best and safest experience possible and every leader we have must clear a background check before serving with the students.

Are there any costs involved?

No, there is no cost to be a part of Youth.

What is your process for screening leaders?

Every leader goes through our membership classes and must clear a background check before serving. Our staff personally meets with each leader for an interview before clearing them to serve. This ensures there are no red flags that would contradict our policies and what we stand for as a church.

How do you determine your curriculum?

We use the Orange curriculum from infant-12th grade. It's relevant and powerful to the next generation.

What do you do for fun and entertainment?

We have all kinds of activities available at the church including foosball, air hockey, basketball, Nintendo switch, PS5 & Xbox. Sometimes we plan evening outings as a youth group to play mini golf, go bowling, etc.

What opportunities are there for parents to be involved?

We are always looking for more volunteers, and are in communication with parents about what we are learning in Youth, and how they can help implement the teachings at home.
